Gebeliğin son trimesterinde koroid inceliyor mu?
In the study conducted by Zeynep Dadacı et al. from Mevlana University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology, 54 eyes of 27 healthy pregnant women were evaluated with EDI- OCT in the 1st and 3rd trimesters. Choroidal thickness measured in the third trimester was found to be significantly thinner compared to the first trimester. The researchers stated that these findings could help explain eye diseases associated with pregnancy. It seems that other studies with larger series are needed on this subject.
