Dizdar Yigit and co-workers aimed to assesses the effects of transcorneal electrical stimulation on several objective and subjective measures of visual function in retinitis pigmentosa. Transcorneal electrical stimulation was applied monocularly, 30 minutes/week for 6 months. Dizdar Yigit and co-workers concluded that the progression in multifocal electroretinography might have been stabilized with transcorneal electrical stimulation.
